Rightous Design Project
Together with the Portal stool, the Sand Stool are part of my Righteous Design project. This project makes space for us as designers to present a personal conviction or exploration we want to pursue. I was interested in the iteration of form through surface design. How can I completely alter how we look and interact with a form with various types of surfaces?
The Sand Stool is upholstered in a printed image of toys at the beach, highlighting the texture of sand and abstracting the form's graphic quality.
